Ryan Zeldin is not your average everyday DJ — he's a formally trained musician. Starting in middle school, he learned to read music and became his school's first chair trumpet player, winning competitions throughout Florida. In high school, he transitioned to guitar, teaching himself through DVD and YouTube tutorials. In college, he picked up his first DJ decks and began spinning at house parties.
During Covid in 2021, Ryan used a company education stipend to enroll at Wired Sound Academy in South Florida, where he trained under touring artists who took his skills from the bedroom to the club. Since then, he's worked his way into every major club in Austin, narrowing his style to focus on house music. His sets are inspired by Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Dom Dolla, and Meduza — with classic rock from Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Metallica mixed in. By day, Ryan is the Director of Sales for a global AI startup on Austin's top startups list. He led another startup to acquisition and has worked for companies like HP, Dropbox, Oracle, and Amazon. Inspired by Drew Taggart & Alex Pall of the Chainsmokers, as well as David Solomon of Goldman Sachs, for their ability to balance success in the corporate world with DJ stardom, he aims to do the same.
